Topgolf Test Automation Engineer in San Francisco, California
Overview
Design, develop and maintain software test automation frameworks and scripts. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of software development and testing methodologies, as well as a passion for automating repetitive tasks and improving testing efficiency.
Responsibilities
Design, develop and maintain software test automation frameworks and scripts
Collaborate with developers and QA team members to identify test automation requirements
Create and execute automated test cases, and analyze test results to identify defects and performance issues
Identify areas for improvement in the testing process, and propose and implement solutions
Troubleshoot and resolve issues with test automation infrastructure and scripts
Document test automation processes and procedures, and ensure that they are followed by the QA team
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
3+ years Software test automation, required
4+ years Quality assurance or test engineer, required
Solid understanding of software development and testing methodologies
Experience building automation frameworks for web-based software as well as web services
Strong programming skills in at least one common OO language such as Java, Python, or C#
Experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, TestComplete, or similar tools
Experience in test automation development on Andriod and iOS is a plus
Proficient in troubleshooting, QA process, quality management tools, and methodologies
Travel up to 5% for team offsites.
