Topgolf Embroidery Operator in Roanoke, Texas

Overview

What You’ll Do

This position will perform a variety of routine and repetitive embroidery operations and procedures. Responsible for operating, monitoring and adjusting automatic and semi-automatic equipment used in the process for embroidering product as required and defined by approved production orders. To perform these tasks the position uses a variety of operating equipment and tools. Responsible for the preparation of components for embroidery. Works under general supervision where operations are specified by written and verbal instructions and established procedures.

You will work out of our Callaway Golf Company location in Roanoke, Texas.

We are looking for 2nd shift workers. Pay is $15-17/hr depending on role offered.

Responsibilities

How You’ll Do It

  • Performs embroidery operations and procedures in compliance with approved standard operating procedures (SOP) and work instruction.

  • Operates automatic and semi-automatic high volume embroidery equipment.

  • Must be able to cross train personnel in all process areas.

  • Exercises responsibility for meeting quality and quantity requirements.

  • Adheres to all safety, rules, procedures and policies, including those outlined in the SOP.

  • Maintains a level of attendance and punctuality that meets Company standards.

  • Notifies Supervisor or Team Leader/Coordinator of any equipment or supply problems.

  • Must be able to partner with onsite Facilities Coordinator on identification of equipment issues.

  • Must be responsible for performing maintenance on embroidery equipment as defined within SOP and equipment user guides/manuals.

  • Performs routine SAP transactions.

  • Requires basic reading, writing, addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and computer skills in English.

  • Will collect, distribute, and process items set-aside for destruction, rework or recycling through issue to production order or obsolete forms.

  • Works in a safe and efficient manner adhering to all safety and housekeeping standards.

  • Immediately reports all injuries and unsafe conditions to your supervisor and/or manager.

  • Works as part of a team to achieve operational and quality goals and objectives

  • Works overtime including weekends as needed, occasionally on short notice to meet order fulfillment demands

  • Help identify, initiate and implement continuous improvement activities designed to optimize process efficiency, and reduce cost.

TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)

  • Demonstrate ability to perform basic operations and some advanced operations such as using industrial embroidery machines

  • Mechanical aptitude and understanding of how moderately complex tools, equipment and systems operate.

  • Performs all operations at a level that meets/exceeds quality and order fulfillment expectations.

  • Must be able to be cross-trained in other operational functions as required and must comply with SOP for those functions. Operational functions may also include non-embroidery activities as required by operational leadership chain-of-command.

  • Ability to read and comprehend technical information and documents such as safety rules, operation and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.

  • Must be able to read and interpret operating procedures.

  • Must ensure compliance with standard operational procedures (SOP) and work instructions in all functional areas as required.

  • Must be able to inspect own work and ensure quality specifications are met.

  • Must be able to work as part of a team to achieve embroidery and operational goals and objectives.

  • Demonstrate the safe use of chemicals as applicable within operations.

  • Must be able to communicate at all levels of the organization both verbal and written

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Must have 1-2 years related experience.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS / WORK ENVIRONMENT (if applicable)

  • Work is performed in a designated professional office workstation and environment.

  • Extensive use of office equipment to include computer, calculator, copier, fax, and other business related machines and software.
