Topgolf Sales Manager, Digital Partnerships in New York, New York

Overview

The Programmatic Account Executive role is responsible for selling digital out of home media campaigns to DSPs, Agencies, and Agency Trading Desks. This position will interact with an internal team of operators, pitching, negotiating, and closing digital media opportunities to ad tech and agency partners that meet client objectives, enhance the guest experience, and drive revenue.

This position requires a friendly self-starter attitude, grit, and willingness to hustle. A passion for Topgolf and/or sports and technology is a must!

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop a strong understanding of Topgolf's technology and media solutions; communicate the value proposition to partners to drive revenue growth.

  • Identify and develop programmatic media campaign leads from DSPs, Agencies & Trading Desks, prepare presentations, pitch, structure deals, negotiate, and close.

  • Serve as an expert on digital media and digital out of home; follow trends, emerging technologies, competitive landscape, etc. and have the ability to simply articulate complex topics to the ad tech/agency/advertiser community.

  • Work with operations and analytics teams to retain and grow accounts, analyze campaign performance, and make recommendations for future campaigns

  • Determine gaps in offering and provide customer feedback on emerging digital and advanced advertising trends to Product, Operations, and Partnerships teams; must be able to define challenges and be proactive about recommending product enhancements to both internal teams and tech providers

  • Help develop strong and mutually valuable relationships with Partnership sales team

Key Qualifications

  • Minimum 2+ years proven programmatic advertising sales success at a top tier Publisher/Media Owner, DSP, or Agency Trading Desk, with a history of meeting or exceeding revenue goals

  • Digital out of home advertising experience a plus

  • Thorough understanding of digital media and bidding/auction landscape

  • Outstanding attention to detail and a high degree of intuition

  • Excellent communication skills, will work closely with operations teams in San Francisco & Dallas

  • Willingness to travel & entertain when needed
