About the job:
Cooks are responsible for skillfully creating high-quality, best-in-class, culinary offerings for our Guests to enjoy. They complete the prepping and cooking of food, ensuring that it is appetizing, properly-prepared, and in compliance of food safety regulations. We take pride in our kitchens, our recipes and our high standards. Consistency is of utmost importance as we want our Guests to enjoy the same textures and flavors when they order the same product, regardless of which restaurant they visit. Our kitchens are the most hygienic and organized you’ll find anywhere, and our teams bring passion and creativity to work every day!
How you’ll do it:
Warmly greet any Guests encountered in a friendly and approachable manner
Prepare and cook delicious meals following our recipes
Flexibility to work several different stations (prepping or on the line)
Keep your station stocked, prepared, clean and safe
Operate and maintain a variety of kitchen equipment
Set up station according to restaurant guidelines
Work as a team in a fast-paced environment
Demonstrate excellent food safety, sanitation, and organizational skills, while completing duties in a timely manner
What We’re Looking For:
2+ years of related professional kitchen experience with experience in a high-volume, fine-dining restaurant environment preferred
Requires advanced knife handling skills and professional cooking skills
Availability to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends and holidays
Ability to work on a team with energy and enthusiasm in a fast-paced environment
Ability to perform simple math calculations and follow directions for equipment and recipe production
Ability to speak and listen the Culinary Manager and other Associates for cooking instructions
Working knowledge of applicable safety and sanitation procedures
Ability to obtain required licenses and certifications for your location
Ability to stand and exert well-paced mobility for the duration of a shift
Hand coordination and dexterity for rapid production
A high level of self-awareness, integrity, and receptivity to change
Ability to stoop, bend and lift items weighing up to 50 lb.
Ability to work in high-temperature conditions (up to 100 degrees) for extended periods of time
