Topgolf Technical QA Analyst in Dallas, Texas
This position will be working closely with business stakeholders, other technical analysts, and integration engineers to ensure that what is developed meets the expectations for the project. More specifically, this role will be tasked with understanding business need, the technical solutions built, as well as with documenting and executing test cases that ensure the validity and completeness of a solution.
Key Responsibilities
Work with project team & stakeholders to fully document both business and technical user stories with traceability matrices
Work with engineering resources to ensure complete testing of technical solution in the context of the business need
Learn and understand current technologies, strategies, and patterns used by engineering team so as to intelligently speak to them/document solutions clearly and concisely
Key Qualifications
Bachelor's in Business Administration or Computer Science or related field/experience, required
2+ years Familiarity with cloud technologies and APIs (e.g. AWS), REST & SOAP APIs, and SDLC
2+ years Experience with creating, presenting, and revising documentation that clearly states a need, and the solution to that need
2+ years Experience in working and coordinating with cross-functional teams to meet a deadline
2+ years Maintaining test suites & executing test cases while working with development teams during iterative development
Familiarity with documentation tools such as Word, Visio, Excel, etc… (Confluence, JIRA, and Lucidchart preferred)
Understanding of the function and purpose of APIs
Exposure to & experience with testing tool suites like test rail & JUnit, API tools such as Postman and SOAPUI is preferred
Ability to conceptualize/generalize a business need so that it can be translated into technical function
Desire to learn and work with cutting edge technologies
Strong interpersonal skills
Strong written and communication skills
Strong desire to learn and work with new technologies
Travel up to 5% - Travel to local venues
