Topgolf Staff Accountant in Dallas, Texas

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES*

  • AR and cash collections received for customer accounts for multiple lines of business, including Partnerships, Top Tracer Range and Swing Suite.

  • Setting up payment subscriptions in our payment portal.

  • Research and resolve payment discrepancies, perform account reconciliation, prepare account receivable aging reports, monitor account details for non-payments and work with operations team to resolve.

  • Manage AR email inbox to ensure communication with customers is prompt.

  • Work closely with UK and Sweden account managers and AR teams, as well as Tax team for any tax related billing questions.

  • Maintain accounts receivable customer accounts and assisting with the resolution of customer billing/AR questions.

  • Contact customers to resolve any billing issues.

  • Provide accounting support to assigned venues including month end close accruals/JEs, analysis, and response to P&L questions.

  • Participate in pulling support for our annual audit as directed by Accounting Manager

  • Work with the accounting team to implement process and control improvements

  • Perform other related duties and project assignments as required.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required

  • 2+ years of experience with demonstrated increasing responsibilities and exposure to month end close processes preferred

  • Understanding of invoice and journal entry posting, and ability to apply accounting principles to reconcile accounts

  • Restaurant or multi-unit retail industry experience preferred

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Strong organizational and time management skills

  • Intermediate/Advanced understanding of the Microsoft Office suite of products, including Word, Excel, Access

  • Ability to work and research/resolve issues independently while sharing best practices and knowledge with colleagues

  • Ability to organize/manage multiple priorities and projects coupled with the flexibility to quickly adapt to ever changing business questions and needs

  • Experience using SAP a plus

  • Desire to be part of a fun and rapidly growing concept
