Job Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into technical design specifications.

  • Design and develop customized solutions using Salesforce declarative features such as Flows, Validation Rules, Reporting, Dashboards and Salesforce Processes.

  • Develop custom functionalities and integrations using Salesforce development tools such as Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and Lightning Web Components.

  • Customize and extend standard Salesforce functionality through the development of triggers, classes, and extensions.

  • Perform data migration and data integration tasks using Salesforce data tools like Data Loader, Workbench, or third-party integration tools.

  • Build and maintain integrations between Salesforce and external systems using APIs (SOAP, REST) or middleware platforms.

  • Perform unit testing, code reviews, and ensure adherence to best practices to deliver high-quality code.

  • Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and support.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, solution architects, and administrators, to ensure successful project delivery.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Salesforce configuration, customization, and integration.

  • Stay up to date with Salesforce platform updates, new features, and industry trends to provide recommendations for continuous improvement.

  • Monitor and maintain Salesforce system storage space and formulate cleanup plans that align with best practices including tasks relating to continuous product health and reduction of tech debt.

  • Perform other accountabilities and projects as assigned.

Critical Skills & Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science / engineering / (Information) Technology or related work experience.

  • Minimum of 5 years technical and business work experience in Salesforce development, including Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and Lightning Web Components.

  • Proficiency in Salesforce declarative features such as Workflow Rules, Process Builder, Validation Rules, and Visual Flow.

  • Solid understanding of Salesforce data model, security model, and sharing rules.

  • Experience with integration technologies, and middleware platforms.

  • Familiarity with web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like Angular or React.

  • Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming and design principles.

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

  • Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.

  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written skills with a proven ability interacting with all levels of management, stakeholders, support personnel, and customers.

  • Active Salesforce Administrator, Platform App Builder and Developer PD1 PD2 certifications.

  • This is a Hybrid position based out of Dallas TX and candidate must have authorization to work in Unites States without sponsorship.
