Topgolf Web Designer in Dallas Office, Texas

Overview

This position is responsible for designing, developing, testing, and debugging responsive web applications across the Topgolf brand portfolio. Using HTML, CSS, JavaScript/ReactJS, this role will be able to translate Player and Business needs into functional front end design that increases user enagement.

Responsibilities

  • Define, design and develop mobile-first web applications across the Topgolf brand portfolio

  • Write, test, deploy and maintain clean and efficient code using best practices for Accessibility and SEO

  • Work with internal stakeholders to discuss and evaluate designs to confirm business requirements are met in a compelling and effective manner

  • Perform quality assurance testing across multiple browsers, platforms and devices to ensure website functionality, and resolve any performance issues

  • Assist with researching, wireframing, prototyping and mocking up user experiences

  • Work with internal design team to ensure UX/UI workflows meet Topgolf brand standards

  • Help with support tickets for all websites in Topgolf brand portfolio

  • Stay up-to-date on new technologies and trends to make recommendations and improve coding practices

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferably in in Front-end Web Development, Information Technology, related certifications, or equivalent work experience

  • 4+ years Experience in Web Development

  • 2+ years Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks, e.g. ReactJS

  • 2+ years Experience with GitHub or similar code repositories

  • Proven experience with front-end design and development of high traffic websites

  • High proficiency with HTML and CSS/SCSS

  • Strong understanding of design principles, user interfaces, web accessibility standards, and usability

  • Willingness to stay informed on latest trends and best practices in web development

  • Solid organizational, time management and analytical skills

  • Comfortable explaining complex and technical issues to a non-technical audience

  • Ability to work and manage time independently in a fast-paced environment

  • Desire to collaborate with others and contribute to team success

Travel up to 5% to venues for testing and observations.
