Topgolf Sr Accountant in Dallas Office, Texas
The Senior Accountant will be responsible for supporting the various business units within Topgolf Media, as well as collaborating with the Dallas Finance team. You will own all aspects of the monthly close process. You will have exposure to budget planning and analysis while helping P&L leaders to drive growth.
Ensures the timely and accurate posting, balancing, and reconciliation of the general ledger for each entity in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles
Collaborate closely with Dallas Head Office accounting team on all aspects of Topgolf Media close
Research and analyze fluctuations between current financial results compared to prior year, prior month, and budgeted amounts
Prepare weekly and monthly Revenue reporting vs Plan and Forecast
Prepare monthly reports for each Manager comparing actual with plan, forecast and prior year
Develops, enhances and implements accounting and finance procedures and documentation of data flow
Support the various TG Media business units as well the Global Brand Marketing team to develop annual plans, quarterly forecasting throughout the fiscal year
Work closely with Manager of FP&A developing and maintaining financial models
Bachelor’s degree in accounting
4+ years experience working at a CPA firm or similar
2 to 4 years’ experience preferred
Must have strong presentation and verbal/written communication skills and possess and Intermediate/Advanced understanding of Microsoft suite of tools (Excel and PowerPoint)
Excellent communication, time management and organization skills
Ability to work on a team
