Topgolf Senior Manager, Financial Reporting in Dallas Office, Texas

Overview

Topgolf is seeking a super talented and highly motivated senior financial reporting manager for our finance team. The main purpose of this role is to lead the preparation and ensure compliance with external reporting requirements. This will include working closely with the broader finance team to gather required information in an organized manner. You will personally prepare month-end, quarter-end and year-end external reporting ensuring timely and accurate delivery. And, you will research technical accounting issues and provide guidance to the team on how to record transactions appropriately. On top of that, there will be lots of opportunities to work on special projects within accounting, finance, and tax. We are looking for someone who knows their stuff well enough to work with fairly minimal oversight and can work well with teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead preparation of monthly, quarterly and year-end external financial reporting

  • Draft required disclosures including sourcing of required information from broader finance organization

  • Ensure compliance with reporting disclosure standards

  • Research, document and implement technical accounting standards

  • Ensure compliance with technical accounting standards

  • Lead annual audit in coordination with external auditors

  • Assist with quarterly and year-end internal reporting requirements

EXPERIENCE

  • CPA required with at least 6 years of relevant experience

  • Experience working with SEC registrants required

  • Public accounting experience required

  • Experience in the Technology, Retail or Media industries is preferred, but not required
