Topgolf Partnership and Guest Insights Analyst in Dallas Office, Texas

Overview

This role will be responsible for developing, executing, and analyzing primary and secondary research – both qualitative and quantitative to help us deeply understand our Guest motivations, expectations, experiences, and aspirations and apply this knowledge with potential partners. This role will be a key contributor to broad-based strategic analyses to help to chart Topgolf’s partnership opportunities forward. Ultimately, having responsibility for providing breakthrough insights and thought leadership that drives business strategies, identifying partnership opportunities, and mitigating risk for Topgolf and its' sub-brands.

Key Responsibilities

  • Become a subject matter expert on guest insights data as it relates to Topgolf and potential partnerships

  • Create ad hoc reports upon request, leveraging internal, custom, and 3rd party databases

  • Mine secondary sources for insights into consumer, business, and environmental trends and to address ad hoc questions

  • Develop and design research instruments (surveys, focus groups, etc.) and sampling techniques to gather data to support partnership decisions

  • Compile integrated analyses, reflecting a range of information resources to help support partnership business strategy and decisions; Create infographics/charts/PPT presentations; Develop compelling narratives; Communicate findings to stakeholders/potential partnerships

  • Consult with internal stakeholders on how to leverage research and make recommendations for strategic partnerships

Key Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree inMarketing, Brand Management, Business Administration or related degree from an accredited college or university required

  • 3+ years experiencein leading, executing qualitative and quantitative research. Deep familiarity with data sources, research methods, and tools in capturing consumer sentiment, consumer feedback, and the analysis of consumer behavior. Comfort in designing quantitative surveys and leading qualitative discussions with consumers required

  • 3+ years experience working cross-functionally with peers/colleagues, and other researchers, to align on roadmaps, insights, and prioritize change needed to enhance our business required

  • 3+ years experience with the ability to synthesize information from a wide range of resources and tell a simple story or identify a need. Experience in finding alignment and opportunity among separate organizations. Experience working on Partnership-focused team a plus required

  • 3+ years experience with a history of partnering with business teams to use internal data and consumer feedback with potential partnerships. Build strong relationships with business partners to understand their challenges and priorities, define research roadmap, and drive actions through insight delivery. Excellent skills in translating data & analysis into business conclusions. Experience providing guidance, expertise, and recommendations to senior leaders preferred

CRITICAL SKILLS

  • Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills; must be very comfortable with data analysis and use data to make decisions. // Proficient in MS Excel; basic to intermediate SQL skills required; knowledge of Python or other data processing scripts a plus // Exceptional attention to detail in executing complex and time-sensitive projects

  • Exceptional communications and influence skills // Presentation skills – Ability to present data findings to a variety of audiences ranging from working-level teams to senior executives // Experience providing guidance, expertise, and recommendations to senior leaders
