Topgolf Financial Reporting Manager in Dallas Office, Texas
The Financial Reporting Manager supports the company’s external and internal reporting results in line with general accepted accounting principles. This role is primarily responsible for the consolidation of Topgolf’s global results in over 5 countries. Critical to succeed in this position is the ability to display a high level of problem solving, prioritization, sense of urgency, quick turnaround, adaptability, and the ability to support diverse projects/problems.
Writing technical memo’s
Consolidation and reviews monthly and quarterly
Responding to requests from ELY and internal TG
Assisting with preparing financial statements and footnotes
Computing same venue sales
Systems implementation leadership for financial reporting
Continuous improvement projects
Bachelors in Accounting, required
6+ years of experience as a CPA, with at least 3+ years of proven ability of working with teams, required
2+ years of experiencePublic accounting experience preferred
2+ years of experience with solid understanding of revenue recognition and other technical pronouncements
3+ years of experience with the ability and willingness to work extra hours to complete objectives
2+ years of experience with high energy and enthusiasm, with a strong commitment to exceeding expectations
6+ years of experience with strong communication and interpersonal skills, displaying the ability to connect and build relationships with colleagues
4+ years of strong organizational and time management skills
Intermediate/Advanced understanding of the Microsoft Office suite of products, including Word, Excel, Access
Ability to work and research/resolve issues independently while sharing best practices and knowledge with colleagues
Ability to organize/manage multiple priorities and projects coupled with the flexibility to quickly adapt to ever changing business questions and needs
Experience using Report Hub, Microsoft Dynamics Navision and Anaplan a plus
Team player with desire to be part of a fun and rapidly growing concept
Flexibility to work on a variety of assignments, projects, or roles
Ability to learn quickly; make an immediate impact, and provide value-added service
