Topgolf Client Relations, Account Manager in Dallas Office, Texas

Overview

The primary role of the Account Manager is to be the Sr Account Managers right-hand and lead internal and external conversations around partner activations and assets. The Account Manager will interact with clients, prospects, and internal departments to fulfill contractual obligations and grow relationships for assigned individual and team Partnership accounts. The role will play an active role in the renewal process for assigned individual and team accounts, manage specific department responsibilities, and assist with day-to-day functions. Previous agency or property experience is preferred, especially with sports or entertainment sponsorship focus.

Key Responsibilities

 Serve as account manager for Platinum and Signature partnership accounts

 Develop and maintain an in-depth knowledge of Topgolf’s Corporate Partnerships business model, as well as the company’s overall operational strategy and vision

 Strengthen and grow positive relationships with partners through touchpoint meetings, phone calls, and partner events

 Plan and execute corporate partner contract activations, including but not limited to, digital signage and media, in-venue promotions, events, and partner marketing campaigns

 Prepare department documents including partner activation plans, media dashboards, partnership recaps, expense reports, budgets, and contracts.

 Support Regional Sales Teams with proposal ideation, case studies and new inventory development

 Maintain thorough communication with Topgolf Corporate Offices and venues regarding Partner deliverables and activation

 Strategize renewal process, and identify / present upsell opportunities to individual and team accounts

 Utilize CRM system to track all activity related to partners including deal points, financials, client profiles and client interactions (i.e., KORE experience a plus)

 Generate integrated marketing ideas for prospects and identify industry standard methodologies

 Leverage data/research relationships and studies (SMG, Sponsor Satisfaction Surveys) for individual and team accounts

 Other duties as assigned by Senior Account Manager and Director

Key Qualifications

 Minimum 5 years of experience in sponsorships with a sports team or similar model, with proven successful track record

 Bachelor’s in Marketing or related degree from an accredited college or university

 Customer service oriented with proven experience building strong client relationships

 Possess integrity and positive attitude as well as a strong sense of morals and ethics

 Self-motivated individual with passion for the role and driven for career success

 Interpersonal skills: works well in a team environment and has the ability to interact with all levels of the organization as well as outside contacts

 Ability to communicate both in writing and verbally in a clear and concise manner. Adept at use of Excel and PowerPoint

 Experience with Salesforce / KORE or another CRM tool.

 Planning and organizing, can prioritize work activities; uses time efficiently

 Dependability – consistently at work on time, follows instructions, responds to Director’s/ Department Leadership instructions

 Ability to sell incremental programs to existing partners

 Flexibility to adapt to frequently changing work environment, and deliver on challenging demands

 Delivers work by or ahead of deadline and thrives within a fast-paced environment

 Ability to work extended hours when needed including nights and weekends
