The Sr. Analyst of Financial Planning and Analysis will have a direct impact on key Venue FP&A initiatives including annual and long-range planning/forecasting of venue-level financials, providing comprehensive financial analysis, evaluating variances to plan/forecast, preparation of monthly business review materials, special projects for senior management, and others. Successful candidates will have strong analytical and financial modeling capabilities, excellent time management skills, and ability to think critically, and enjoy being part of a team.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain weekly/monthly reports to support venue performance and profitability

• Support the FP&A team with regular forecasting and budgeting at the venue level

• Interpret and evaluate business trends, including plan and forecast variances, to identify areas of risk/opportunity, and partner with business leaders to meet our short and long-term goals

• Conduct financial analysis and participate in cross-functional projects to evaluate the impact of business initiatives on the company’s financial performance, profitability, and efficiency

• Prepare regular and ad-hoc financial reports for senior management presenting key findings and insights in a clear and concise manner

• Facilitate preparation of monthly / quarterly business reviews and Board of Director meeting materials

Critical Skills & Experience Requirements

• BA Degree in Finance, Statistics and/or Business, required

• 3+ years of experience in an FP&A/Analytical position

• Strong proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting

• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail

• An innovative, positive, and self-directed attitude. Able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

• Excellent communication skills capable of conveying complex financial information to diverse stakeholders

• Ability to work collaboratively with all departments and management levels within the company

• Experience automating reports using data visualization tools such as Power BI, Amazon Quicksight, Tableau, etc.
