Topgolf Consumer Insights Research Manager in Dallas, Texas

The Consumer Insights Research Manager is accountable to representing the voice of the customer by driving research that provides recommendations for marketing, product, and business strategies. This leader will identify business critical research projects, design and implement research programs, analyze data from various sources, and communicate results to senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct consumer research studies

  • Design, develop, and deploy consumer/customer-first research projects to address critical business questions

  • Outline key research objectives and strategies to address utilizing briefs

  • Stay current on and utilize various research methods to gather consumer insights (e.g. focus groups, play alongs, surveys, panels, ethnographies, brand tracking)

  • Employ survey software tools (e.g. Qualtrics) to create and complete analyses

Lead external research partner relationships

  • Oversee vendor selection, negotiation, and contracting process

  • Communicate research objectives, partner on methodology and approach, review questionnaires, and gather required inputs from internal stakeholders to ensure aligned, quality deliverables

  • Collaborate to ensure analyses have clear connection to business challenges and implications

Conduct market research analysis

  • Conduct comprehensive market research to identify emerging trends, competitor analysis, and growth opportunities for Topgolf

  • Analyze research to provide insights that inform marketing and product strategies

  • Develop and deliver insightful and actionable deliverables to leadership

Key Qualifications :

  • 5+ Years Designing and executing best-in-class consumer and customer research

  • 5+ Building surveys in survey-development platforms and conducting analysis of results

  • 5+ Conducting market research, distilling into insights, and incorporating into broader thinking

  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills: ability to gather, analyze and interpret data to uncover insights and trends

  • Diverse research methodology experience: knowledge of various research methodologies, including surveys, focus groups, interviews, and observational studies and when to employ each

  • Excellent communication skills: deliver insights in a concise and actionable manner

  • Attention to detail: ensure the accuracy and reliability of research findings

  • Knowledge of the entertainment category is a plus

15% Travel required to conduct research
